Learn About Stafford Regional Airport
Stafford Regional Airport in Fredericksburg, Virginia, offers quality air travel service with our 37-acre paved aircraft parking apron. Equipped with a 5,000-ft. by 100-ft. runway with full parallel taxiways, Jet-A, and Avgas fuel storage facilities, our airport is a state-of-the-art transportation hub. Some of our facilities are available for lease development for aviation related business facilities. Having been in the business for more than 15 years, we make air travel fun and comfortable for you.
We are located within the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, which is the largest metropolitan economy in the US. In addition, we are also near other northern Virginia business centers. Despite our location being one of the busiest areas in region, we are free from the associated congestion. As for our airspace, it is located outside of the Washington, D.C. enhanced Class B and Safety Flight Rules Area (SFRA).
Stafford Regional Airport Authority is an independent authority comprised of representatives from Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Prince William Counties that support the Stafford Regional Airport. Along with the Virginia Department of Aviation and the Federal Aviation Administration™ (FAA), the authority has worked tirelessly since 1989 to bring the airport to success. We are proud members of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
